A oilcloth does not have to be washed as often as a regular tablecloth
One of the advantages of a oilcloth is that you dont need to wash it as often as a regular tablecloth that quickly gets stains, especially because the dining table often is the center of family life.
Almost Linen oilcloth appearance and surface is matte and silky (not sticky as the one your grandmother had in the kitchen), while the beautiful structure of the weaving is preserved so you still have the feel of a linen tablecloth.
We only use quality cotton and the silk-coated coating is completely free of phathale and other weird stuff.
Wash and care
It is easy and effortless to clean: Wipe it with a damp cloth whenever you feel the need.
If needed the oilcloth is machine washable at the cold programme. Do not use the centrifuge or the dryer. Let the cloth air dry. You can iron it, but only on the backside.
Tomato in all forms and curry should be wiped off immediately to avoid discolouration.
The coating is made of a matte PVC on the surface, allowing the texture of the cotton to dominate.
The oilcloth is woven in a heavy quality of cotton. It can be ironed at the backside only. Put the iron on cotton ••• and use steam if available.
